Fitness Trail (Trim Trail)
A fitness trail - also called a trim trail or parcourse - is a walking or running route with exercise stations spaced along it. Users alternate cardio between stations with strength and mobility exercises at each stop, combining a workout with time outdoors.
The format predates the modern outdoor gym and remains popular in parks, forests, and along waterfronts. Where an outdoor gym concentrates stations on a single pad, a fitness trail spreads them along a loop, which suits larger green spaces and pairs naturally with running.
