Calisthenics
Calisthenics is strength training that uses body weight as resistance rather than external loads. Built on fundamental movements like pull-ups, dips, push-ups, and squats, it is the foundation of street workout and a natural fit for training outdoors.
Because it needs little more than bars and frames, calisthenics is central to outdoor fitness. Dedicated calisthenics and street workout equipment - pull-up bars, parallel bars, and rigs - turns a patch of ground into a full training space, which is why calisthenics parks have spread rapidly in cities worldwide.
